Homework is corrected at home whenever possible and in class when not. Missed problems are redone before starting the next assignment. Homework is completed in pencil, corrections are in red ink, and rework of missed problems is in blue or black ink.

This means that you answer the question and explain your thinking completely, using complete sentences. When creating an argument in science, your thinking must be supported by strong evidence. Notebooks are collected once every three to four weeks. Notebooks are returned with a grading sheet. Each student is responsible for reviewing the grading sheet and noting missing assignments.
